All FAQs (73)

What information do I need to request a quote?

Share the commodity, quantities, packaging, dimensions and gross weight; pickup point and destination; requested services; and ready date or delivery window. Include receiving restrictions and supporting files where available. Identify anything still unknown.

Do you handle both FCL and LCL shipments?

You can request ocean freight for a full container (FCL) or a less-than-container load (LCL). Provide cargo volume, weight, origin and destination so the shipment and U.S. handling requirements can be reviewed.

Can you arrange only the U.S. side of the shipment?

Share the international arrangements already in place and the U.S. pickup, handling, storage or delivery services you need. Identify where the existing provider’s responsibility ends so the handoff can be reviewed.

Which ports and airports can you pick up from?

Provide the arrival port or airport, terminal or cargo facility, cargo details and the next destination. Pickup availability and release requirements are confirmed for that operating point and shipment.

Does transloading include storage?

Transloading changes the cargo configuration for the next transport leg. Storage is a separate requirement: include the expected holding period and release plan when requesting both services.

Can I use warehousing without transportation?

Describe the receiving, storage and release operations you need, including any transport arranged by another provider. The warehouse scope and handoffs can then be reviewed separately.

How do I know if I need LTL or FTL?

LTL shares trailer space with other shipments; FTL uses a dedicated truckload arrangement. Provide pallet count, dimensions, total weight, timing and receiving requirements so the appropriate transport option can be reviewed.

Is liftgate delivery available?

Request a liftgate before dispatch and provide the cargo dimensions, weight and receiving conditions. Equipment suitability, route availability and additional service scope need to be confirmed for the shipment.

Which U.S. locations do you operate in?

Explore the existing Los Angeles / Long Beach, New Jersey and Savannah location pages for regional service planning. The Facilities & Network page presents the operating locations and available facility information.

Are the same services available at all facilities?

Service availability and handling conditions depend on the operating point and the cargo. Share packaging, dimensions, weight, storage duration and the requested outbound plan so the appropriate facility can be confirmed.

Can cargo be released in phases for a project?

Provide the project schedule, cargo groups, release sequence and site receiving requirements. Handling, storage and phased delivery can be reviewed together; changes should be communicated before a release is arranged.

Can I request one service or combine several?

You can request a single operation or describe several stages. Services are combined only when they belong in the agreed shipment scope.

Does freight delivery include installation?

Installation, assembly, unpacking and inside placement are not automatically included in freight delivery. Confirm the unloading point, equipment and exact handoff before booking.

Can you review floor-loaded and palletized freight?

Specify how the container is loaded and provide packaging, quantities and handling instructions. The unloading and preparation scope is reviewed for the actual cargo.

Can freight be stored before the next move?

Include the expected holding period and release plan. Storage is a separate requirement to review, not an automatic part of every transload.

Can you arrange the outbound transport?

Include the destinations and shipment split when requesting LTL, FTL or final delivery with the handling work.

What information is needed for a quote?

Provide the arrival point, cargo, packaging, quantity, weight, timing and outbound plan. Add photos or loading instructions when available.

Can pickup be arranged before cargo is available?

Pickup depends on release and terminal availability. Share status updates and any known deadlines before the movement is scheduled.

Can the container go directly to transloading?

Yes. We connect port pickup with container unloading, transloading and onward transport. Share your unloading requirements and outbound plan.

Does the service include empty-container return?

We arrange empty-container return alongside the loaded move. Provide return instructions and deadlines so appointments and any additional charges are included in the quote.

What affects the quotation?

The terminal, route, container, equipment, appointment conditions and handling requirements affect the quotation. Charges and scope are confirmed for the actual shipment.

Can I request storage without transportation?

Yes. You can book storage separately or combine it with receiving, cargo preparation and distribution. Share the cargo and storage period to confirm space at the appropriate facility.

Can releases follow a project schedule?

Yes. We organize releases by order, quantity, destination or project phase. Provide your release schedule and receiving instructions.

What should I send for warehouse pricing?

Include quantities, dimensions, weight, packaging, inbound timing, holding period and outbound frequency.

Does this include consumer order fulfillment?

Yes. ANL provides order picking, packing and fulfillment alongside bulk freight distribution and Amazon FBA replenishment. Share SKU counts, order volume, packaging and sales channels so we can match the workflow to the appropriate facility.

How do I choose between LTL and FTL?

Share the cargo size, weight, packaging, route and timing. There is no single pallet count that determines the right option for every shipment.

Can I request full-truckload transport?

Yes. Select the FTL option and include the load configuration, route and receiving requirements for review.

Can non-standard freight be reviewed?

Provide piece dimensions, weight, packaging and handling restrictions so the equipment and service requirements can be assessed.

Is final delivery included automatically?

The agreed scope defines the delivery point and receiving responsibilities. Use the Final Delivery page for detailed site and appointment planning.

Can freight be delivered to a project site?

What if the destination has no loading dock?

Does delivery include installation or assembly?

What receiving details should I provide?

Include the address, ZIP code, receiving contact, available hours, appointment instructions and unloading conditions.

Do you cover every U.S. airport?

No blanket airport coverage is implied. Provide the airport, cargo terminal and destination so availability can be reviewed through the relevant operating point.

Is international air freight included?

Airport Pickup addresses the U.S. ground stage. Include Air Freight separately if international transport also needs to be arranged.

What if cargo is not released yet?

Share its current status and any known deadlines. Collection is planned around confirmed release and pickup availability.

Can pickup connect with warehouse handling or delivery?

Describe the next destination and handling requirements so the appropriate onward scope can be reviewed.

Can I request both FCL and LCL options?

Provide the origin, destination, volume, weight and packaging. If you are unsure of the loading mode, ask for a review of the suitable arrangement.

Do all ocean shipments need container drayage?

No. The destination handoff depends on FCL or LCL, cargo release and the agreed routing. LCL does not automatically follow a full-container pickup path.

Can U.S. handling and delivery be included?

Yes. Connect ocean freight with port pickup, transloading, warehousing and final delivery. Your quotation identifies the included services and charges.

What should I send for a quote?

Provide origin, U.S. destination, cargo, FCL/LCL preference, container quantity or volume, ready date and requested U.S. services.

Is U.S. airport pickup included automatically?

The quotation defines each handoff. Request Airport Pickup and onward services when you need them included.

What details are needed to review air freight?

Provide the origin, U.S. arrival point, destination, cargo, pieces, dimensions, weight, ready date and requested delivery window.

Can a delivery date be guaranteed before review?

Schedules depend on the cargo, routing, availability and ground handoffs. Request shipment-specific options and timing.

Are special cargo types accepted automatically?

Describe the commodity and any special handling needs before booking, including dangerous goods or temperature-controlled requirements. Acceptance, suitable routing and available capacity must be reviewed for the shipment.

Can I request U.S. operations when another company handles the international freight?

Share the arrival point, release information and handoff requirements so the U.S. service scope can be reviewed.

Can the plan include storage and separate releases?

Include the holding period, release quantities and destination instructions. Storage and dispatch arrangements depend on the cargo, location and agreed scope.

Is this a parcel or personal moving service?

This page is for commercial import freight and distribution, not individual parcels or personal household moving.

What should I provide for an initial request?

Start with your cargo, arrival or pickup point, destination and timing. Add dimensions, weight and documents when available.

What should we provide before a U.S. handoff?

Provide the arrival or pickup point, release information, cargo specifications, delivery instructions and designated contacts.

Can recurring traffic be reviewed?

Share the gateways, cargo profile, expected frequency and distribution pattern so an operating arrangement can be reviewed.

How are customer contact and shipment updates handled?

Identify who is authorized to issue instructions and receive updates. Customer-facing contact responsibilities should be agreed before operations begin.

Can we request selected U.S. operations?

Describe the stages you need ANL to execute and the stages handled by other parties. The service scope is reviewed for the actual shipment.

Can freight arrive before the site is ready?

Include expected arrivals, the required holding period and the release schedule. Storage and handling arrangements need to be reviewed for the cargo and location.

Can the plan cover several commercial destinations?

Provide the shipment split and receiving instructions for each destination so sorting, release and delivery requirements can be reviewed.

Does Auto Parts include complete vehicles?

This page is for automotive parts, not complete-vehicle transport. Do not treat complete UTV or ATV movements as a parts shipment.

Are all parts automatically accepted?

No. Acceptance depends on the actual commodity, packaging, handling requirements and route. Special cargo characteristics require review.

Does every shipment move through a New Jersey warehouse?

No. A New Jersey facility is included only when it is part of the agreed shipment plan.
